Rice has reached ₹ 500 per kg in Sri Lanka, there is a huge shortage of petrol and diesel, electricity is not coming, people have become too greedy for one time bread. Amid Sri Lanka’s ongoing Economic crisis, locals staged a protest against the government at Independence Square in Colombo on April 04. Protestors voiced their demand for the resignation of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

आजकल श्रीलंका (Srilanka) से जो तस्वीर सामने आ रही हैं वो जरा से भी खुशगवार नजर नहीं आ रही है. श्रीलंका में चावल ₹500 प्रति किलो पहुंच गया है, पेट्रोल डीजल की भारी किल्लत है, बिजली नहीं आ रही, लोग एक वक्त की रोटी के लिए भी मोहताज हो चुके हैं. श्रीलंका में चल रहे आर्थिक संकट (Sri Lanka Economic crisis)के बीच, लोगों ने कोलंबो में इंडिपेंडेंस स्क्वायर ( Independence Square in Colombo) पर सरकार के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने राष्ट्रपति गोटबाया राजपक्षे ( President Gotabaya Rajapaksa) के इस्तीफे की मांग तेज की।
