An Indigenous man who lives in one of the country's most remote towns has had a lifetime driver's licence ban overturned by the supreme court of Western Australia. The 57-year-old man from the Kimberley town of Halls Creek was banned from driving in 2008. A judge has now found the lifetime penalty was excessive and unjust.
