Following the horrific Birbhum incident in which eight people were killed, West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar on March 24, strongly condemned the brutal murder and said the killing resemble the barbarism of the middle ages.

“Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee should have come earlier. These killings resemble the barbarism of the middle ages; people were locked and set ablaze alive,” said Sukanta Majumdar.

“She wants to buy dead bodies by providing money and job to families of deceased. There will be many such incidents if the government won't look into root causes. She can't control the law and order situation. We want an impartial probe by CBI & NIA,” he added.
