Mumbai Power Outage: Sion, Wadala, Dadar, Fort & Other Areas Witness Hour-Long Blackout

On February 27, many areas in the financial capital of India, Mumbai, witnessed a massive power outage. Mumbai faced power outage after the Mulund-Trombay line tripped. The local train services in the city were also briefly hit. Services were restored at 10.44 am. Many complaints of power cuts were reported from Sion, Dadar, Matunga, CSMT, Byculla, Churchgate, parts of Chembur, Bandra and Kurla areas in Mumbai. The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport tweeted, “Due to some technical issues, there has been power supply failure at many parts of the city.” Watch the video to know more.
