On the heels of Russia's intensified offensive in Ukraine, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will convene a high-level meeting on the conflict on Sunday.

PM Modi, who was campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh during the day, will chair the meeting after returning to Delhi.

A day ago, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a phone call with Modi sought India’s political support in the United Nations to condemn Russia’s moves in his country.
