Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has fled Kyiv for Lvov (Lviv) amid war with Moscow, Sputnik quoted the Russian State Duma Speaker as saying.

The latest development could be significant for Moscow, which had been asking Zelenskyy to surrender.

However, earlier today, Zelenskyy tweeted a selfie video debunking reports that he had left Kyiv or the country. The Ukrainian President stated that he was fighting in the country and urged citizens not to believe false reports.
