Juan Gomez De Liaño gets another chance to play for the flag on the global basketball stage.
He is part of Gilas Pilipinas pool in the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers happening this month. Gomez De Liaño is coming off a short stint with Earthfriends Tokyo Z in the Japan B-League second division.
The FIBA World Cup Qualifiers will take place right here in the Philippines and Gilas will tip off its campaign on February 24th against rivals, South Korea.
