A pleasant surprise for fans of Gilas Pilipinas as Thirdy Ravena makes his way home to play for the team in the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers later this month.

Ravena had been in the middle of his second season with the San-en Neo Phoenix in the Japan B-League when he got the call to rejoin the national team.
