From 2006 to 2010, Rahul Bajaj was also a member of the Rajya Sabha. Rahul Bajaj was instrumental in taking the Bajaj Group to its heights over five decades.

Industrialist Rahul Bajaj का शनिवार को निधन हो गया. राहुल बजाज 83 वर्ष के थे. वह बजाज समूह (Bajaj Group) के अध्यक्ष थे.जानकारी के मुताबिक राहुल बजाज पिछले कई सालों से कैंसर जैसी गंभीर बीमारी से लड़ाई लड़ रहे थे। भारत सरकार ने 2001 में राहुल बजाज को पद्म भूषण (Padma Bhushan) से नवाजा था. 2006 से 2010 तक राहुल बजाज राज्यसभा के सदस्य भी रहे थे. राहुल बजाज ने पांच दशकों में बजाज समूह को उसकी बुलंदियों तक पहुंचाने में अहम भूमिका निभाई थी.
