Union Minister Suresh Angadi has died nearly two weeks after he tested positive for coronavirus infection. He was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi after his condition worsened. He was the first Union Minister and the fourth MP to die due to COVID-19 infection.Following his swab samples returning positive for COVID-19 on September 11, the MP from Belagavi had requested all those who came in close contact with him in the last few days to monitor their health and get tested in case of any symptoms.

केंद्रीय रेल राज्य मंत्री सुरेश अंगड़ी का 65 साल की उम्र में दिल्ली के एम्स अस्पताल में बुधवार को निधन हो गया। अंगड़ी कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमित थे और उनका अस्पताल में इलाज चल रहा था। वे 11 सिंतबर को कोरोना पॉजिटिव पाए गए थे, अंगड़ी पहले केंद्रीय मंत्री हैं जिनकी कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण के कारण मृत्य हुई है. इससे पहले तीन सांसदों का कोविड-19 के कारण निधन हो चुका है. सुरेश अंगड़ी रेल राज्यमंत्री थे. पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने सुरेश अंगड़ी के निधन पर दुख जताया है और उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की है।
