Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will file his nomination papers for the Gorakhpur Urban seat at 11:40 am on Friday. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will remain present for CM Yogi Adityanath’s nomination. This is the first time Yogi Adityanath, a five-time former Lok Sabha MP, is contesting state assembly elections as a candidate. Amit Shah had earlier declared Yogi Adityanath the party’s CM face.
