Top political leaders including SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Union Home Minister Amit, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and BSP chief Mayawati are expected to hold campaigns on Thursday. In the run-up to the polls, all parties are campaigning aggressively.

Recently, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is also contesting the Goa Assembly elections, had announced that its candidates will have to sign legal affidavits mentioning that they will not quit the party to join another one if they get elected.
