On January 31, Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal Chief Minister blocked governor Jagdeep Dhankhar from her Twitter account. This move from Banerjee comes a day after Dhankhar said the state had become a gas chamber for democracy. Soon after Banerjee announced that she had blocked Dhankhar, he responded by quoting the Constitution.
