Will Bitcoin and Ethereum Retest Higher?
Bitcoin and Ethereum started a rebound on Thursday evening, leading analysts to question when they will retest and at what price. As experts came out of the woodwork to comment on the situation, questions arose about where these tokens could go in the near future. Michael van de Poppe, for example, says he would be bullish on Bitcoin if it can flip the upper region in the mid-42 thousands. Justin Bennett took to Twitter ($TWTR@US) to say that a 20 to 30% bounce from $40,000 is likely, especially considering how Bitcoin has responded to liquidation candles since the beginning of last year. Regarding Ethereum, analysts like Altcoin Sherpa feel the token is making bearish moves, noting that it could bottom out in the $2600 range. Plus, experts believe that the token could see resistance in the $3500 to $3600 range. At press time, Bitcoin was trading at nearly $42,500, up half a percent, while Ethereum is up nearly 2% to $3188 on decreasing volume and an increasing market cap.
