Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal declared advocate Amit Palekar as its chief ministerial candidate for the Goa Assembly polls. Palekar, who joined the AAP this October, will be contesting from St. Cruz constituency. Kejriwal said the party had chosen an "honest man" as the face of its campaign in the coastal state. He also said that they had picked a person well known for his welfare work in the community.
