Intelligence agencies have been put on alert after receiving input about a possible terror plot on Republic Day that may threaten the lives of PM Modi and other dignitaries. The nine-page intelligence input, a copy of which was accessed by India Today, indicated that there was a threat to PM Modi and other dignitaries who would be present at India's 75th Republic Day celebrations. Leaders from five central Asian countries — Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan — are likely to be invited as chief guests.
