Shiba Inu Enters Mexican Exchange
Mexican crypto exchange Bitso announced that it has listed Shiba Inu, the self-described Dogecoin killer, and it is now available for trading. Bitso took to Twitter ($TWTR@US) to make the announcement, mentioning that Shiba Inu has been jockeying for position with some of the biggest cryptocurrencies in the world. Bitso now supports 16 cryptocurrencies, but it does not support Dogecoin, putting these tokens at odds as they seem to compete for the same space in the market. Bitso has obtained unicorn status after a successful Series C funding round, reaching a valuation of over $2 billion. Meanwhile, Robinhood ($HOOD@US) might look into listing SHIB while Newegg Commerce ($NEGG@US) now accepts Shiba Inu for purchases along with AMC ($AMC@US) saying it will accept both Dogecoin and Shiba Inu for online concession and ticket purchases. At press time, Shiba Inu is up nearly 10%, close to its 24-hour high on decreasing volume and nearly a 10% increase in its market cap.
