Sabrimala activist attacked in Kerala; Protesters block PM Modi's route in Punjab; more

Social activist Bindu Ammini was attacked by a man in Kozhikode on Thursday, January 6. She was assaulted by an unknown man, and the entire assault was caught on camera by onlookers. Bindu has now filed a case and the culprit has been identified.

In another news, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Punjab visit was cut short as he was stranded on a flyover for 20 minutes due to a blockade by protesting farmers on Thursday. A day after the incident, a video is doing the rounds on social media wherein a member of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Krantikari) can be heard thanking fellow protesters for blocking PM Modi's route.
