The central government has decided to conduct 'Surya Namaskar' in schools from January 1 to January 7 on the occasion of 75 years of independence. But the All India Muslim Personal Law Board has objected to this decision of the Center, protesting this direction of the government, the Muslim Personal Law Board said that Surya Namaskar is a form of Sun worship and Islam does not allow it.

Central Govt ने आजादी के 75 साल पूरे होने के मौके पर स्कूलों में 1 जनवरी से 7 जनवरी तक 'Surya Namaskar' कराने का फैसला किया है. लेकिन All India Muslim Personal Law Board ने केंद्र के इस फैसले पर आपत्ति जताई है,सरकार के इस निर्देश पर विरोध जताते हुए मुस्लिम पर्सनल लॉ बोर्ड ने कहा सूर्य नमस्‍कार सूर्य पूजा का एक रूप है और इस्‍लाम इसकी इजाजत नहीं देता है।
