Over the years, Kannada intelligentsia has been mourning the gradual disappearance of the 'Kannada Reader'. Whether this is true or not, Akshatha Humchadakatte's Aharnishi publications which operates from Shivamogga, has been able to build a dedicated community of readers, by publishing more women and those from underrepresented groups.
