Hanamant Devanoor’s mother and Basamma Devanoor’s parents were afflicted with leprosy. Both have closely seen the stigma and shame the disease can carry. By caring for and rehabilitating patients afflicted with leprosy, they are challenging the misconceptions associated with the disease.
