SIT files charge sheet in Lakhimpur Kheri violence case

The Special Investigation Team (SIT has filed a charge sheet in the Lakhimpur violence case on January 03 and 14 accused including one more in tally have been arrested in this regard.
Speaking to the media, prosecution lawyer SP Yadav said, "The charge sheet has been filed. One new name Virendra Shukla has been also added. He has been charged under Section 201 of IPC."
On October 3, eight persons including four protesting farmers, died after being allegedly mowed down by a SUV belonging to Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni's son Ashish Mishra.
