Navjot Singh Sidhu on October 8 met the family of Journalist Raman Kashyap, who was killed in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence. He said, “Till the time action is not taken against Ashish, son of Ajay Mishra, he does not join the investigation, I will sit here on hunger strike. After this I am silent, will not talk.”
