48 dead, 22,000 living in evacuation centres: Malaysia’s flood cleanup delayed and insufficient

Malaysia’s worst flooding in decades has killed a total of 48 people as of December 27, 2021. Five people are still missing and more than 22,000 are living in evacuation centres after heavy rains on December 17 and 18 led to floods.
