Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls early next year, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) National President Jayant Chaudhary on December 23 said that there is an understanding with the Samajwadi Party (SP) on seat-sharing. He said, “We have an understanding between us, we will fight together on 403 seats.” On December 7, both the parties held their first joint rally after making an alliance for the upcoming polls. Uttar Pradesh is scheduled to go for Assembly polls in 2022.
