India's Omicron tally crosses 200-mark; tourists flout Covid norms and more

Two hundred cases of Omicron variant of coronavirus have been detected in India so far, out of which 77 patients have recovered or migrated, the Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

The Union health ministry also asked states to impose night curfew and strictly regulate large gatherings amid a surge in cases of Omicron.

Meanwhile, tourists were seen flouting Covid norms at hill stations. Manali saw 7,000 tourists last week. However, no one was seen wearing a mask or following protocols while vacationing. Watch the full report here for more details.
