Union Minister Pralhad Joshi seeks meeting with Opposition over suspended Rajya Sabha MPs
  • 2 years ago
Union Parliamentary Affairs minister Pralhad Joshi called a meeting of four Opposition parties - whose MPs had been suspended - for a meeting at 10 am on Monday.

The development comes amid ongoing protests against the suspension of 12 Rajya Sabha leaders on the first day of the Winter Session. However, the Opposition remains miffed over the exclusion of other parties from the meeting in the Parliament Library Building.

The suspended members comprise six from the Congress, two each from the Trinamool Congress and the Shiv Sena, and one each from the CPI and the CPI(M).
