Fighter escort was provided by the crews of the Su-35S aircraft of the Air Force and Air Defense Association of the Eastern Military District. The flight duration was about nine hours. Long-range aviation crews regularly fly over the neutral waters of the Arctic, North Atlantic, Black and Baltic Seas, and the Pacific Ocean.
