Government scraps NSW offshore drilling proposal

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has confirmed the government will not be going ahead with a proposed oil and gas drilling project in NSW. The controversial PEP-11 licence could have led to off-shore drilling as close as five and a half kilometres off the coast between Newcastle and Sydney.
