These images show a flying version of a new stealth combat drone prototype being developed by Russia.

The Sukhoi S-70 Okhotnik-B is an unmanned aerial vehicle that has been in development since at least 2011. It had its first test flight in 2019 but other than that, very little is known about the aircraft.

The images were recorded on the occasion of a visit to the Novosibirsk Aviation Enterprise by the Russian Deputy Defence Minister Alexey Krivoruchko and they were then shared online by the Russian Ministry of Defence, who said: "During his working trip to Novosibirsk, Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia Alexei Krivoruchko checked the progress of the state defense order at the V.P. Chkalov.

"At the enterprise, he was shown the roll-out of the first flight model of the S-70 Okhotnik unmanned aerial vehicle, as well as the assembly production process of the second flight copy."

Deputy Defence Minister Krivoruchko is quoted as saying: "The roll-out of the UAV records the completion of the assembly of the product as a whole, equipping it with all the necessary on-board equipment in accordance with the requirements for aircraft, and the transition to complex ground tests to prepare for the first flight."

The images show the white and blue aircraft in a hangar. It appears to be rather flat, not unlike other stealth aircraft. The prototype can then be seen being towed out of the hangar by a large maintenance vehicle.

The deputy defence minister can then be seen walking up to it to inspect it.
