Indonesia: 7.5 Magnitude Undersea Earthquake In Flores Sea Leads To Tsunami Warning

On December14, a strong 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck eastern Indonesia. It led to panic among the people but no deaths or major damages were reported. Videos of people running on the roads have been shared on social media. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said the quake did not pose a threat of tsunamis anymore. The Center had earlier said that tsunami waves were possible within a 1,000-kilometer radius of the epicenter. Indonesian authorities also lifted the tsunami warning issued earlier.
