Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has claimed credit for the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi today. Akhilesh Yadav said the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor project was approved when the Samajwadi Party was in power in UP and he has documentary evidence to support his claim.
Taking a dig at the ruling government at the Centre, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, "Since 2014, Hindutvavadis have been in power while Hindus have been out of power. These [Hindutvavadis] are false Hindus."
