The Opposition is going to escalate its protest in the Rajya Sabha over the suspension of MPs for the Winter Session of Parliament. Opposition leaders will meet in Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge’s office to chart out further strategy. Suspended MP Syed Nasir Hussain said, “This issue concerns Rajya Sabha and Congress party led by Sonia Gandhi has always maintained that we want detailed discussions.

We are for business to take place in the House.The money that people of the country are spending on the Parliament should be utilised in a proper way. We want discussion. The House should run and the suspension should be revoked. We have a strategic meeting every day. Today we'll also plan how to escalate the protest.”
