Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Gorakhpur is all set to get a Rs 8,600 crore fertilizer plant, to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday.

Along with the fertilizer factory of Hindustan Urvarak Rasayan Limited (HURL), PM Modi will also inaugurate the state-of-the-art hi-tech nine labs of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and a hi-tech lab at Regional Medical Research Center (RMRC) located in Baba Raghavdas Medical College in Gorakhpur.
