Today is 2nd December, on this day the whole world celebrates as International Day of Abolition of Slavery. The slavery system, which has been going on since ancient times, remains in some form even today. The United Nations has declared 2 December every year to be the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery. According to an estimate, even today 1 child out of every 4 people is a victim of modern slavery.

आज 2 दिसंबर है, इस दिन को पूरी दुनिया अंतरराष्ट्रीय दास प्रथा उन्मूलन दिवस के रुप में मनाती है. पुराने समय से चली आ रही दास प्रथा आज भी किसी न किसी रूप में बनी हुई है. संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने हर साल 2 दिसंबर को अंतरराष्ट्रीय दास प्रथा उन्मूलन दिवस मनाने की घोषणा की गई. एक अनुमान के मुताबिक, आज भी हर 4 लोगों में से 1 बच्चा आधुनिक गुलामी का शिकार है.
