Primary schools in Medway are ranked amongst the worst 10 in the country according to inspectors.
Ofsted's annual report puts the schools 142nd out of 151 local authorities in terms of those judged to be good or outstanding, despite 90% of primaries in the rest of Kent falling in the top rating bracket.
