PM Modi arrives in Rome for G20 Summit; India’s stand for COP26; more

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Rome to attend the G20 Summit on Friday. PM Modi will pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi in the afternoon. He will also call on Pope Francis in the Vatican during his two-day visit. This will be PM Modi's third foreign visit amid the Covid-19 pandemic after Bangladesh in March and the US in September. After the G20 Summit ends on October 31, PM Modi will depart for Glasgow to attend the 26th Conference of Parties (COP-26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
