Sameer Wankhede vs Nawab Malik: Fresh Charges Made By Maharashtra Minister Against The NCB Officer
  • 2 years ago
The feud between senior NCP leader and Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik and NCB officer Sameer Wankhede escalated on October 26 with Malik alleging that Wankhede \"did not follow proper rules in 26 cases.” Nawab Malik tweeted a letter sent to him by an unnamed NCB official. Malik sent this letter to Director General Narcotics, requesting him to include it in the investigation being conducted on NCB's Sameer Wankhede. Sameer Wankhede has called the allegations false and malicious. Wankhede’s wife hit back at a press conference. Mutha Ashok Jain, Director General, Narcotics Control Bureau in Mumbai, told ANI, \"I have seen the letter. We will take necessary action.” Malik had earlier tweeted, “I am releasing soon... 'SPECIAL 26'.” Malik had alleged that Wankhede used fraudulent means to obtain a caste certificate to get an IRS job. Since Aryan Khan’s arrest, Malik has questioned every step of the anti-drugs agency. Nawab Malik’s son-in-law Sameer Khan was arrested in a drugs case and is out on bail.
