Even as Navjot Singh Sidhu withdrew his resignation, the problem within the Punjab Congress seemed to be far from over with the state party chief locking horns with Chief Minister Charanjit Channi. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court on Wednesday is scheduled to hear the matter pertaining to the October 3 violence in Lakhimpur Kheri in which eight persons, including four farmers, were killed during a protest.
