In a bid to continue piling pressure on BJP over the Lakhimpur violence case, Congress on Monday held ‘maun vrat’, a silent protest across the country to demand the sacking of union minister Ajay Mishra Teni. Senior Congress leaders and workers staged protests in silence outside central government offices. The protests were seen in many other cities including Lucknow, Jaipur against the BJP.
