'Baja California Sur, Mexico: SURREAL Garden Eels pop out of sand to greet freediver '

'Magnificent footage has surfaced from Baja California Sur, Mexico, which shows a group of garden eels popping out of the sand.
"While freediving at Cerralvo Island (Baja California Sur, Mexico), I found a huge group of these surreal-looking garden eels," the filmer, Miguel Salazar wrote. "They are very shy creatures, which makes them hard to record, but after waiting a couple of minutes, I saw them come out of the sand again and allow me to admire their mesmerizing appearance."
The sight of these no-nonsense animals letting the filmer bask in their glory under several feet of water, is amusing, to say the least.
