Uttar Pradesh witnessed high political drama over the Lakhimpur Kheri violence. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was restricted in Luckow airport when he tried to reach the district on Wednesday. However, he and Priyanka Gandhi eventually made their way to Lakhimpur Kheri where the situation remains tense following Sunday’s violence.

Meanwhile, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) denied NCP leader Nawab Malik’s allegation that its ongoing investigation into the drugs case, involving Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, had political links.
