Why and who are you protesting against: SC raps farmers

Questioning farmers on their stir against the Centre’s three farm laws, the Supreme Court on Monday said it would examine whether the peasants had the right to protest when the issue of the Agriculture Acts is being decided in court. The apex court rapped farmers for protesting even after challenging the law in court.
"When the government has already said that it's not implementing the laws yet and there is a stay on it from the Supreme Court, then why are you protesting?" the bench observed.
