'World's largest Khadi National Flag' unveiled in Leh

Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh RK Mathur on October 02 unveiled the largest Khadi National Flag in Ladakh made of Khadi cloth. The flag was unveiled on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. The 225-foot-long and 150-foot-wide flag weighs over 1,400 kg. It took 49 days to complete this flag. 150 troops of the Indian Army’s 57 engineer regiment carried the massive flag to the top of a hill at over 2000 feet above the ground level in Ladakh.
