Australian spearhead Mitchell Starc has opted out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 player auction list. Starc, the leading wicket-taker in the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup last played in IPL in 2015 for Royal Challengers Bangalore. In 2018 IPL auction, the left-handed bowler had been signed by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 9.4 crore but was sidelined from the entire league due to an injury.
