The Central Government has filed an affidavit before the Delhi High Court on the petition related to reopening of Nizamuddin Markaz. Opposing the opening of Markaz, the central government has said that this decision can affect many countries across the border. However, the Delhi High Court has said that Markaz cannot be kept closed forever.

निजामुद्दीन मरकज (Nizamuddin Markaz) को दोबारा खोलने से जुड़ी याचिका पर केंद्र सरकार ने दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट (Delhi High Court) के सामने हलफनामा दाखिल किया है. मरकज (Nizamuddin Markaz) खोलने का विरोध करते हुए केंद्र सरकार ने कहा है कि ये फैसला सीमा पार कई देशों तक असर डाल सकता है. हालांकि दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट (Delhi High Court) ने कहा है कि मरकज को हमेशा के लिए बंद नहीं रखा जा सकता.
