Bhupendra Patel in action in flood affected area before oath

Bhupendra Patel has formally taken over the governance of Gujarat from today. But even before taking oath, he was seen in action, concerned about the problems of his state. In Jamnagar and Junagadh, there has been an influx of torrential rains. Patel started the relief and rescue action without waiting for the oath-taking ceremony. Bhupendra Patel got the news of this chaos in Jamnagar in the morning itself. There were still a few hours left for the swearing-in and formally becoming the Chief Minister, but there was no time to wait. So Bhupendra Patel came into action even before the oath. Bhupendra Patel spoke to the Collector of Jamnagar over the phone and asked the Collector to start the rescue operation immediately.
