Dr. Fauci on the Severity of the Delta Variant
  • 3 years ago
The CDC changed its mask wearing guidelines on Tuesday and recommended that fully vaccinated Americans wear masks indoors in areas with high transmission rates.

Though fully vaccinated people make up a small fraction of infection rates, health officials, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, warn that they can still spread the Delta variant, which is more contagious than the Alpha variant.

The agency is also recommending that kids mask up in schools come fall.
