On Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced a ban on the sale of meat and liquor on the holy land of Braj as per the wishes of the saints. He said that the people affected by this should be systematically rehabilitated. Its instructions have been given to the officers. During this, CM reached Shri Krishna's birthplace and had darshan of Lord Shri Krishna.

श्रीकृष्ण जन्माष्टमी पर मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने संतों की इच्छा के अनुरूप ब्रज की पावन धरा पर मांस-मदिरा की बिक्री पर रोक लगाने का एलान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि इससे प्रभावित लोगों का व्यवस्थित पुनर्वास किया जाए। इसके निर्देश अफसरों को दिए गए हैं। इस दौरान सीएम ने श्रीकृष्ण जन्मस्थान पहुंचकर भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के दर्शन किए।
