According to the Hindu calendar, the Ashtami date of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month is starting from 11:25pm on Sunday, 29 August. This date will end on Monday, August 30 at 01:59pm. Lord Shri Krishna was born in the night and Udaya date is valid for fasting, so this year the holy festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami is on 30th August.
